Filled with warm humor and tremendous heart, Lynn Nottage' Sweat tells the story of a group of friends who have spent their lives sharing drinks, secrets, and laughs while working together on the factory floor. But when layoffs and picket lines begin to chip away at their trust, the friends find themselves pitted against each other in a heart-wrenching fight to stay true to themselves and each other.

Chance Theater, Anaheim's official resident theater company, is pleased to announce the second show in its fifth TYA Family Series... Goosebumps the Musical: Phantom of the Auditorium. With book and lyrics by John Maclay and music and lyrics by Danny Abosch, based on the stories by R.L. Stine, and directed by Darryl B. Hovis, Goosebumps the Musical: Phantom of the Auditorium will preview from October 4 through October 6; regular performances will begin October 6 and continue through October 27 at Chance Theater @ Bette Aitken theater arts Center on the Fyda-Mar Stage.

"Mr. Burns: a Post-Electric Play," written by Anne Washburn and directed by Kyle Cooper, features a group of survivors after the collapse of civilization. The survivors surround a campfire and reminisce about the plot of an episode of "The Simpsons" television show titled "Cape Feare." The production runs November 9-December 2, 2018 in the Young Theatre on campus with Musical Direction by Craig Shields and Choreography by Angeline Mirenda.

Bell, Book and Candle by John Van Druten is directed by guest artist Elina de Santos and runs November 17-December 10, 2017 in the Young Theatre on campus. Gillian Holroyd casts spells and performs feats of supernaturalism. She even casts a spell over an unattached publisher and he falls head over heels in love with her. Unfortunately, as it turns out, witches aren't allowed to fall in love, which presents a conundrum for dear Gillian.

Cal State Fullerton's production of John Patrick Shanley's Italian American Reconciliation is directed by Professor Maria Cominis and runs October 7-30, 2016 in the Hallberg Theatre on campus. Italian American Reconciliation is a tale about Huey, a man who is safely divorced from his shrewish first wife (who shot his dog), but he feels he cannot regain his 'manhood' until he woos and wins her one more time. This is a lighthearted romantic comedy by the author of the critically acclaimed movie, Moonstruck. BroadwayWorld has a sneak peek at the cast below!
