FRIGID New York will present the 13th Annual The Fire This Time Festival at The Kraine Theater, July 7-10. The festival will feature World Premiere 10-minute plays by early career and under-represented playwrights from the African diaspora, co-directed by Zhailon Levingston and actor, writer, director and TFTT alum Tracey Conyer Lee. 

The Riant Theatre's 32nd Annual Strawberry One-Act Festival (Van Dirk Fisher, Artistic Director) is going to present an ENCORE PERFORMANCE of some of the Best Plays to benefit the SOUP KITCHEN at the Church at the Holy Apostles, 296 Ninth Avenue, at 28th Street on Friday, October 11, 2019. The AUDELCO Award-winning Riant Theatre held a cocktail reception to celebrate NYC's upcoming Strawberry One-Act Festival. Proceeds from the event went to benefit The Riant Theatre's Youth Empowerment Scholarship Awards, which provides valuable hands-on internships for teenagers and college students in the arts. Bold New Voices: Past, Present and Future, a collaboration between My Image Studios Harlem (MIST Harlem) and Voza Rivers/New Heritage Theatre Group, launches an exciting multicultural arts series with an all female concert and staged reading  of  William Shakespeare's Julius Caesar on June 8 at 7:00pm at MIST Harlem, 46 West 116th Street.
