The Celebrity Series of Boston presents the 5th annual Stave Sessions, the unique music series showcasing the innovative, the experimental, and the collaborative approaches of emerging artists. The 2019 Stave Sessions take place March 19-23, 2019 at 160 Mass. Ave. in Boston. Doors open at 7pm; concerts begin at 8pm. Each concert features 2 sets with one intermission. Bostonians will have another reason to welcome autumn along the Charles River when the Celebrity Series of Boston presents Jazz Along the Charles: A Walkable Concert. After receiving close to 100 applications, a selection committee comprised of educators, administrators and performers from Boston's thriving jazz scene has chosen 25 ensembles to perform at a series of connected, walkable locations along the Charles River Esplanade, interpreting the same curated list of Boston-related tunes in one collective free concert.

The Celebrity Series of Boston welcomes jazz vocalist Jazzmeia Horn to kick off its fourth annual Stave Sessions, the unique concert series showcasing the innovative, the experimental, and the collaborative approaches of emerging artists. The concert takes place Tuesday, March 20, 2018 at 160 Massachusetts Avenue, at Berklee College of Music in Boston. Members of The Flora L. Thornton Opera Program will perform W.S. Gilbert and Arthur Sullivan's most popular comic operetta "The Pirates of Penzance" at Pepperdine University's Smothers Theatre from Wednesday, February 21 through Saturday, February 24 at 7:30 p.m. at the Lisa Smith Wengler Center for the Arts.

Not only does actress Karen Ziemba have a career for the history books, but her work in 2017 alone has been jam-packed with credits most performers would trade their career for. Since making her Broadway debut in A CHORUS LINE in 1975, Ms. Ziemba has worked steadily on the stages of New York, starring in everything from CRAZY FOR YOU to CONTACT to CURTAINS. The sound of music will be heard all across Boston from September 23-October 10, 2016 as Celebrity Series of Boston brings back Street Pianos Boston. 

On Saturday, April 2, 2016 at 8PM Dumont's Elizabeth Synnott will help usher in the Spring with Why Do Fools Fall In Love?, a night of songs about love, like, and annoyance. Synnott will be accompanied by the incomparable Barbara Ciannella on piano. The evening will take place at Bergenfield's Nunnbetter Theatre (161 Woodbine St., Bergenfield, NJ 07621).
