BIO
Natalie Jacobs is a former NCAA Division 1 All-American athlete turned artist. After receiving a full scholarship to Penn State and honoring her athletic commitment, she began training at Studio Theatre in Washington DC, and never looked back. Credits include NBC's Blindspot, ABC's For Life, Mirrors at Next Door at New York Theatre Workshop, and Primary Trust at Vermont Stage. Currently, Natalie is in rehearsals for Mfoniso Udofia's upcoming world premier play, The Ceremony.

An invitation-only reading of Afrika Brown’s new play, The Fight, will be presented as a part of The Apollo Salon Series in Manhattan on Friday, March 17th. The Apollo Salon Series, a part of The Apollo New Works initiative, provides development support for contemporary new work across artistic disciplines. The series expands on The Apollo’s tradition of nurturing artists and projects by providing a one-week residency.

Theatre production company Parity Productions, the only New York theatre company that ensures that they fill at least 80% of the creative roles on their own productions—playwrights, directors, and designers—with women, trans, and gender-expansive artists and offers free tools to encourage the rest of the theatre industry to do the same, has awarded two commissions to Kelley Nicole Girod for This Stretch of Montpelier and M Sloth Levine for At Hotel MacGuffin. The ceremony took place on Wednesday, November 10th as a hybrid event over zoom and in person at the Manny Cantor Center.
