Last night (8 March 2016) marked the opening of the West End production of MOTOWN THE MUSICAL. With music and lyrics from the legendary Motown catalogue and book by Motown founder Berry Gordy, MOTOWN THE MUSICAL is directed by Charles Randolph-Wright. Last month, due to public demand, a further 200,000 tickets were released for sale taking bookings at the Shaftesbury Theatre to 18 February 2017. The West End production of Beautiful - The Carole King Musical, opened last night, Tuesday 24 February 2014 at the Aldwych Theatre, London. Directed by Marc Bruni, Beautiful - The Carole King Musical has book by Douglas McGrath with words and music by Gerry Goffin, Carole King, Barry Mann and Cynthia Weil.

Shaun of the Dead star Nick Frost has been announced as a guest star in the 2014 Doctor Who Christmas Special. Actors Natalie Gumede Gumede (Coronation Street, Ideal, Strictly Come Dancing), Faye Marsay (Pride, The White Queen, Fresh Meat), Nathan McMullen(Misfits,Casualty), and Michael Troughton (Breathless, The New Statesman), will also join Peter Capaldi and hJenna Coleman in Special.
