Irish Repertory Theatre has announced a new affordable ticket initiative, 24 for $24. For each preview performance, 24 tickets will be available for $24 each. Tickets are limited to 2 per person, with no age restriction.

For its tenth anniversary season, the Northern New England Repertory Theatre Company (NNE Rep) will present George Bernard Shaw's classic comedy Arms and the Man* on the Sawyer Center stage at Colby-Sawyer College in New London. In this delicious romantic confection, Shaw's barbed wit targets themes of love, honor, and illusions, and serves up laughs aplenty at the foibles of human nature. NNE Rep's production of Arms and the Man will run for seven performances from June 5th through June 14th.

Playwright Mark St. Germain, author of Freud's Last Session, will be paying Cape May Stage a special visit Saturday, September 21 and Sunday, September 22. In two very special talk-backs after the 8 p.m. performances, St. Germain will illuminate audiences to the inspiration for the show and the process of tackling the radically different positions of the two main characters. Audiences will get the opportunity to pose questions and engage in discourse with St. Germain, accompanied by light refreshments in the intimate setting of the Robert Shackleton Playhouse.

Freud's Last Session will run from Wednesday, September 18 to Saturday, October 19 at the Robert Shackleton Playhouse located on the corner of Lafayette and Bank Streets in downtown Cape May. Performances are at 8 p.m. and occur Tuesdays through Sundays. Tickets are $35 for adults, $30 seniors (62+) and $15 students. A half-price preview performance will take place Wednesday, September 18 followed by the official opening night Thursday, September 19. A special half-price senior night will take place Wednesday, October 2 and a $25 anniversary matinee will occur Saturday, October 19 at 3 p.m. For more information and ticket reservations call the box office at (609) 770-8311, or visit the theatre's website www.capemaystage.org.
