Kara Curtis BIO

Kara has been acting since her 1st grade play portraying the role of a Bunny who wouldn't hop. She has been dancing since the age of 5, and grew up performing at The Three Little Bakers Dinner Theatre in Wilmington DE. She attended Syracuse University where she received a BFA in Musical Theatre. Professional Equity Regional credits include Sister Margaretta in The Sound of Music at Syracuse Stage, Martha Cratchitt in A Christmas Carol at Syracuse Stage, Rita and the Pearl Lady in Thoroughly Modern Millie at the Media Theatre, The Soprano Soloist and a wife in Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat at the New Candlelight Dinner Theatre, Lady Sybil and a Nymph in Camelot at the John W. Engeman Theatre, and Shelley and understudy Tracy Turnblad (performed 6 times) in Hairspray at the John W Engeman Theatre. Other favorite non-equity credits include Kim Macafee in Bye Bye Birdie at Three Little Bakers Dinner Theatre, and Liesl in the Sound of Music at Three Little Bakers Dinner Theatre.
