LAByrinth Theater Company (Artistic Director John Ortiz) recently announced that they will present the World Premiere of Devil of Choice by LAB Member Maggie Bofill (Winners, Drawn and Quartered). They are thrilled for performances to begin Wednesday, May 23, and will run through Saturday, June 9, 2018, at The Cherry Lane Theatre (38 Commerce Street, New York, NY 10014). An official opening night has been set for Monday, May 28, 2018. Tickets are available for $20 each and can be purchased online at www.labtheater.org/shows-and-events

On Thursday, September 24th, the National YoungArtsFoundation (YoungArts) kicked off their 2015-2016 season with the second annual YoungArts Awareness Day, a national campaign to encourage young artists to pursue their dreams of becoming professional artists and to show that #becauseofyoungarts, artists ages 15 to 18 years are able to take the next steps toward achieving their goals and building a strong professional network including award-winning and acclaimed alumni. This year's celebration included a series of public events in New York, Miami, and Los Angeles. Today we are talking to a passionate and prolific performer who has appeared in a number of impressive properties over the course of his career thus far - Milky White in the most recent Broadway revival of INTO THE WOODS to his starring roles in MEMPHIS and beyond - the charming Chad Kimball.

The New York Musical Theatre Festival and Retrop Productions have announced that JULIAN PO, the new musical with book and lyrics by Andrew Barrett and music by Ira Antelis, is the first show in the festival to be extended. Due to high demand for tickets, the five-performance run - scheduled between July 8 and 14, 2013 - now has an additional show added on Wednesday, July 10 at 5:00 PM. In addition, Sean Cullen ('Boardwalk Empire') and Issadora Tulalian (How the Grinch Stole Christmas at the Old Globe) have been added to the cast.

JULIAN PO, which mixes comedy and drama, opens in New York after a critically-acclaimed, sold-out run at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival where it was nominated for "Best Book of a Musical." JULIAN PO, based on the book La mort de monsieur Golouja by Branimir Š?epanovi? and the screenplay "Julian Po" by Alan Wade, features elements of pop, rock, country, bluegrass and gospel. JULIAN PO is an official selection of The New York Musical Theatre Festival's "2013 Next Link Project." The show is directed by Kirsten Sanderson with music direction by Mark Hartman.
