Brelby Theatre Company, the West Valley's 'New Works Incubator' announces their 10th season, and it is chock full of world premieres.

'Taylor is driven by love. He's a romantic and very dramatic,' said Devon Mahon of his character in John Perovich's new play, unexpected, opening at Brelby Theatre Company this Friday. 'The play is about love at one of its greatest points, when it is unexpected,' Mahon continued.

John Perovich is a highly regarded playwright whose most recent offering, unexpected, opens May 19th at Brelby in Historic Downtown Glendale. He will teach a playwrighting intensive this spring at Brelby.

The two are featured in Brelby's Peter and the Starcatcher, opening Today at the Brelby Playhouse in historic downtown Glendale. Maticic plays the coveted role of the dread pirate Black Stache (who will one day be Captain Hook), and Perovich appears as Lord Leonard Aster.
