Brelby Theatre Company Presents MISSING GRACE, Beginning Tonight

The Brelby Theatre Company located in Historic Downtown Glendale, is pleased to be producing the world premiere of missing grace by resident artist John Perovich. Featuring direction by Executive Director, Brian Maticic, and performances by Mia Passarella (Grace), Matt Clarke (Robert), and Allison Bauer (Allison), missing grace is a haunting family drama that explores love, loss, grief, and moving on. Audiences can expect mystery, entertainment, and surprises as characters struggle to find redemption.

Missing grace, is the first installment of the 2016 Studio Series, dedicated to producing local playwrights and focusing on the story and character. "Missing grace is for audiences interested in character driven dramas with elements of mystery and magical realism," explains Perovich. "It's not often that we get to see new plays take risks with storytelling and structure, but missing grace allows you to get lost in the story while gradually offering information that has a startling impact on the characters."

"Being able to directly ask the playwright questions has been enormously beneficial and having time to really dive into the characters, these relationships, and the given circumstances has been truly special," says Passarella. "I am surrounded by incredible talent and much insight every day at rehearsal. Its been an honor to work on this production and I can't wait for people to see the final product."
