Two of L.A's. leading small theatres will showcase award-winning productions on Arts in Review, Friday, July 19 (2 to 2:30pm) on KPFK 90.7fm, Pacifica Radio for Southern California.

A Coupla White Chicks Sitting Around Talking will play at Theatre Tallahassee Sept. 19-29.

The New York International Fringe Festival (FringeNYC) a production of The Present Company presents Stranger Than A Rhino, a contemporary reimagining of Ionesco's Rhinoceros with themes of race, culture and xenophobia, written by Robert Siegel.  William Roudebush directs a cast of eight, including Vick Krishna, Jeremy Lister, Barbara Matovu, Amanda McCallum, Leslie Lynn Meeker, Charles Rubey, David Shakopi and Scott Zimmerman. 

Chasing Jack is the new riveting drama from author John S. Anastasi, previously represented Off-Broadway with Would You Still Love Me If starring Kathleen Turner. Audience members can sit in the General Courtroom Gallery for $20 or be closer in the Jury Box for $25 and be part of the action!

Acclaimed stage and screen actress Karen Ludwig will star in WHERE WAS I? directed by two-time Emmy Award winner Dorothy Lyman. Previews begin September 1 at Theatre 54. Opening is slated for Thursday, September 3.

Rubicon Theatre continues the company's 16th Not Your Typical Season with Collected Stories. Written by Pulitzer Prize-winning author Donald Margulies and directed by James O'Neil, Collected Stories is a two-person play featuring Susan Clark (Emmy Winner - "Babe Zaharias," "Webster," Shaw Festival and the Taper) as a brilliant, direct writing professor and Meghan Andrews (Frost/Nixon and The Grapes of Wrath on Broadway) as her eager-yet-talented student. Opening May 28th at 7:00 p.m., Collected Stories runs Wednesdays through Sundays until June 21st.

Before the housewives were desperate and the city was sexy there were...A COUPLA WHITE CHICKS SITTING AROUND TALKING. Flood Stage Productions now has a new home in the St. Charles Opera House at 311 N. Main St. in St. Charles, MO 63301. Their debut production in their new digs will be John Ford Noonan's play, which will run May 14 - May 22.

New City Stage Company concludes its 2009-2010 season, From the Other Side, with the Philadelphia revival of John Ford Noonan's A COUPLA WHITE CHICKS SITTING AROUND TALKING for February and March. This poignant and dark drama-comedy is running NOW through March 7, 2010. Performances are at the Second Stage at the Adrienne Theater, 2030 Sansom Street. Tickets cost $18 - $22.
