BroadwayWorld has a first look at opening night of Mamma Mia! the Party at The O2 London, on Thursday 19 September. Executive producer Björn Ulvaeus appeared during the show wearing his original ABBA costume from 1977 and welcomed guests including Mark Gatiss, Noel Fielding, Craig Revel Horwood and Arlene Phillips.

Casting is today announced for the world premiere of the new musical based on Carla Lane's beloved BBC series The Liver Birds. Taking on the iconic roles of Sandra and Beryl are Joanna Monro and Lesley Molony.

On one dark and stormy night in the upper day room of the Silver Retirement Home, five elderly ladies are trading stories of their remarkable lives. With the storm floods rising and no rescue team in sight, the ladies are faced with the sudden realisation that in order to survive they are going to have to do what they have done for their entire lives - do it themselves!

On Saturday 6 April, MAMMA MIA! celebrated its 14th birthday in London and now enters its 15th year. The show has also extended its booking period to 5 April 2014.

Helen Hobson will return to the role of Donna Sheridan in the global smash hit musical MAMMA MIA! from tonight, Monday 24 September, less than three weeks after the musical, now in its 14th year in London, has transferred from the Prince of Wales Theatre to its new home in the Novello Theatre.

The new cast includes Gary Milner, real-life wife Sally Ann Triplett, Neil Roberts as Harry Bright, James Gaddas as Bill Austin, Charlotte Wakefield as Sophie Sheridan, Andreas Gyllander as Sky, Abiola Ogunbiyi as Ali, Tasha Taylor Johnson as Lisa, Steven Oliver as Pepper and Liam Doyle as Eddie. At certain performances, the role of 'Donna Sheridan' will be played by Claire Poyzer. Joanna Monro and Kim Ismay will continue as Rosie and Tanya respectively.
