Today we rewind to 2013, when Sting was preparing to bring The Last Ship to Broadway. The Last Ship played for 105 performances at the Neil Simon Theatre, where it opened on October 26.

Today the h Foundation, the charitable arm of h Club London (formerly The Hospital Club) are proud to announce the return of their festive online auction. The auction, which runs for two weeks from midday on Thursday 28th November to midnight on Thursday 12th December, raises money to fund h Foundation's three flagship programmes which help support young creatives. All money raised will be match funded by the Paul G Allen Foundation.

Broadway Rewind: Sting Sails THE LAST SHIP to Broadway

Today we rewind to 2013, when Sting was preparing to bring The Last Ship to Broadway. The Last Ship played for 105 performances at the Neil Simon Theatre, where it opened on October 26. 

The original cast and band of Sting's musical The Last Ship reunited on the 54 Below stage earlier this week to celebrate their run with an eclectic evening themed around seafaring songs. THE LAST SHIP played its final performance on Broadway on Saturday, January 24 at 8 p.m. At the conclusion of the show, its composer, and cast member Sting took to the stage to thank the cast, crew and the audience and to reflect on the show's journey. Watch below!

Sting, currently making his Broadway debut in his musical THE LAST SHIP, stopped by last night's Late Show with David Letterman to perform the ballad 'What Say You, Meg?' from the production.

Just last night, Sting joined the cast of the musical he penned, The Last Ship, for a limited run through January 10, 2015. He will be replacing actor Jimmy Nail, who is said to have 'blessed' the move. Sting then joins Paul Simon on tour in New Zealand on January 30, 2015, making any further extensions unlikely. Sting stopped by this morning's TODAY to reveal that beginning December 9th, he will join the cast of Broadway's THE LAST SHIP as a shipyard foreman.

THE LAST SHIP - the new musical with music and lyrics by 16-time Grammy Award-winner Sting and book by Tony Award-winner John Logan and Pulitzer Prize-winner Brian Yorkey opened on Broadway on October 26. Sting stopped by this morning's TODAY to talk about making his Broadway debut as composer of the musical THE LAST SHIP, which is loosely based on his childhood. In addition, cast members from the show performed the number 'When We Dance.'
