Jimmy Nail Biography
Jimmy Nail is a BAFTA-nominated English actor, singer, musician and writer. His first TV role, as 'Oz' in "Auf Wiedersehen, Pet" (1983-2004) brought public and critical acclaim. Nail went on to create, produce and star in two hugely successful UK TV series, "Spender" (1990-94) and "Crocodile Shoes" (1994-97). After playing Agustin Magaldi alongside Madonna and Antonio Banderas in Alan Parker's feature film, Evita (1996) he co-starred as Les Wickes in Brian Gibson's Still Crazy (1998).He has released a number of albums including 1991's 'Growing Up In Public,’ and 1995’s multi-platinum 'Crocodile Shoes'. His television series have received five BAFTA nominations, a Golden Globe nomination, and an Ivor Novello nomination. "Auf Wiedersehen, Pet" was voted Most Popular British Drama Series of the Decade by ITV viewers.
In 2005 Nail's autobiography, A Northern Soul, was published by Penguin and in 2008 Nail created and starred in "Parents of the Band," a comedy series for BBC1.

Today the h Foundation, the charitable arm of h Club London (formerly The Hospital Club) are proud to announce the return of their festive online auction.
