Stephen Flaherty, the Tony Award-winning Broadway composer, writing partner to book writer/lyricist Lynn Ahrens, will receive a multimedia, multi-ensemble, all-star tribute entitled “The University of Cincinnati College Conservatory of Music Honors Alumnus: STEPHEN FLAHERTY AT CARNEGIE HALL!

The University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music will present an evening of music and stories, featuring their incredible students and a sampling of CCM's most notable alumni. Join them for a front-row seat to the world premiere of 30 Years of Stephen: The Music of Stephen Flaherty at 8 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 23, 2022 in Corbett Auditorium.

A dependable haven for artists in isolation, Theater Resources Unlimited is now into its second year of non-stop weekly Community Gatherings this Friday, having offered to date over 80 conversations and unlimited camaraderie since April 17, 2020.

Theater Resources Unlimited will establish a new TRU scholarship fund at its annual TRU Love Benefit this November 4th at Caroline's on Broadway. Honorees at the benefit this year will be Baayork Lee and the National Asian Artists Project (NAAP) receiving the TRU Spirit of Theater Award, and John Chatterton and the Midtown International Theatre Festival (MITF) receiving the TRU Entrepreneur Award. The scholarship fund will be open to any candidates demonstrating financial need, and will include annual worthy candidates submitted by both NAAP and MITF.

The cast for the new musical is Joy Franz, Chuck Muckle and Hannah Seusy. The musical is written by Stephen Chinlund & Jim Semmelman; with music by Bert Draesel; and lyrics by Jim Semmelman.  It is directed by  Kathleen O'Neill, with set design by April Bartlet, lighting designer by  Dan Henry, and the musical director is  Kenneth Gartman.  The hit musical closed this weekend with a Sold Out show and people turned away.
