Rover Dramawerks will open their 23rd Season with the hilarious comedy Four Weddings and an Elvis by Nancy Frick. Performances will be at the Cox Playhouse, running January 12-28.

The American Association of Community Theatre (AACT) is pleased to announce that Rover Dramawerks is producing the AACT NewPlayFest winning play, Proprioception by Marilyn Millstone. The world premiere will open September 10 and run through September 18, 2021 at the Cox Playhouse at 1520 K Ave, Plano, Texas. Rover Dramawerks continues their 19th Season with the comedy The PlayMakers by Julie Zaffarano, winner of their 2018 new full-length comedy contest. Performances will be at Rover's theatre in Plano, located in Ruisseau Village at 221 W. Parker Rd, Suite 580, at the northwest corner of Parker and 75. Performances run February 7-23 on Thursdays and Fridays at 8:00 p.m. and on Saturdays at 3:00 and 8:00 p.m.

Returning to Theatre Three on the Norma Young Arena Stage for its ninth incarnation, The Fantasticks is an inexorable part of Theatre Three's history. Written by two graduates of the University of Texas at Austin (and originally directed by a Texan!), this American jewel of a musical comedy is a timeless romantic tale of a boy, a girl, and their fathers' schemes to get the two married. Manhattan's longest running musical, The Fantasticks features a musical comedy score that sparkles with wit, including favorites like "Try To Remember, " and "Soon It's Gonna Rain."
