A Class Act NY, the award-winning acting studio will produce a staged reading of award-winning Bobby Cronin's new musical PSYKIDZ on August 24, 2018. The reading will be directed by Broadway Actress Lauren Elder and produced by ACANY Artistic Director Jessica Rofe Grosman and Jonathan Grosman.

Camp ACA is a one-week Broadway summer camp that features workshops with Broadway actors on musical theatre technique, improvisation, dance, vocal training, acting for the camera, and introductions to Shakespeare, stage combat and stage make-up. A Class Act NY's latest workshop was star studded with Billy Elliot's Thommie Retter (Mr. Braithwaite) and Trevor Braun (Michael), who taught the students the Billy Elliot finale.

A Class Act NY, the award-winning acting studio for kids and teens, hosted a one-day Billy Elliot Workshop on Nov. 1st with stars Trevor Braun (Michael) and Thommie Retter (Mr. Braithwaite.) Kids worked on scenes, songs, and a dance combo from Billy Elliot as well as proper audition technique. Manager, Aaron Anderson of Kanner Entertainment also came in to observe class and conduct a mock audition.

A Class Act NY, the award-winning acting studio for kids and teens has recently wrapped their widely popular one-week Broadway camp programs. Campers, ages six through 16, came from all over the globe to participate in the camps including London, England, Ohio, Missouri and Pennsylvania.

On April 5th, A Class Act NY, New York's award-winning acting studio for kids and teens hosted a Little Mermaid Workshop with Sierra Boggess, the star of the show! Sierra worked with twenty lucky participants ranging in ages from 7 - 16 on songs and scene work from Mermaid as well as musical theatre audition technique.

On May 2nd, A Class Act NY hosted a One-Day Workshop with not one, two but three stars of Broadway's newest smash hit, Billy Elliot at their Billy Elliot Workshop! Not only did kids work with Thommie Retter (Mr. Braithwaite), Casey Whyland (Tracie Atkinson) and Erin Whyland (Debbie Atkinson) but Nora Brennan, the children's casting director was also there to conduct mock auditions with the kids during the last half of class!

There are a few spaces left in A Class Act's ACTING 101 CLASS with Mary Poppins Star, Tony Mansker! You will leave this six week class with a strong acting foundation. Class starts Saturday, January 17th. It culminates in a showcase for family, friends and industry professionals.
