Janene Lovullo

Janene Lovullo is very excited to be releasing her first solo album “This Moment” recorded at Capitol Records. “This Moment” was sound engineered by Academy and Emmy Award nominated score mixer Dan Wallin and orchestrated by Tim Simonec, conductor and orchestrator to the 2010 Academy Award winning score for Disney/Pixar’s “UP”. The album is a vision shared with her friend, arranger and musical director Christopher Marlowe. Christopher is principally known for his successful eleven year

association with the beloved Nancy LaMott.

Janene has performed in numerous musical theater productions regionally, on Broadway and in National Tours. Some of her credits include Maria in West Side Story (Downey CLO at the Shrine), The Pirates of Penzance at the Los Angeles Ahmanson (daughter) also the 1st National Tour (Kate) and finally on Broadway (daughter) and understudy to Maureen McGovern. Janene was in the hit musical CATS on Broadway and as Grisabella on the 1st National Tour. Les Miserables was her final Broadway show (Factory Girl, us to Fantine) and returned home performing roles as Cossette and Fantine at the Los Angeles Shubert.

Currently residing in Orange County, Ca., with her husband Bob and trying to keep up with their combined six children and their little Cairin terrier, Jaime, Janene has now been able to perform in the Los Angeles area. Her last cabaret show "You Are My World" performed at Michael Sterlings club, Sterlings Upstairs at Vitello's and was her last live performance before embarking on the album.
