B. MOORE DANCE returns to Dallas after a successful performance at the iconic Joyce Theater and seventh annual American Dance Platform (ADP), New York City. The company was one of only three companies hand-selected by New York curator and acclaimed choreographer, Ronald K. Brown.

True Story Comes to Life in TOMAS AND THE LIBRARY LADY at Dallas Children's Theater


Dallas Children's Theater brings to life the power of education through storytelling in TOMÁS AND THE LIBRARY LADY. Discover an inspiring, true story based on the life of Tomas Rivera, a young boy from Texas born into a family of migrant farm workers who ultimately became the first Mexican American to hold a position of chancellor in the University of California system. TOMÁS AND THE LIBRARY LADY opens March 24, 2017 at Dallas Children's Theater (DCT) / Rosewood Center for Family Arts.

DNAWORKS and Stage West Theatre to Present AFTER ORLANDO


DNAWORKS and Stage West Theatre will present "AFTER ORLANDO: An International Theatre Action in Response to the Pulse Night Club Shooting", a staged reading, post show community dialogue, and reception at Stage West Theatre on Monday, January 30, 2017 at 7:00pm.  Admission is free.  Donations will be encouraged to benefit Ft. Worth's LGBTQ S.A.V.E.S., a local youth advocacy and service organization.

Rover Dramawerks to Host Festival of 10-Minute Comedies, 6/30-7/9


?For the second year, Rover Dramawerks will present a festival of 10-minute comedies. Selected from over 300 plays submitted blind from playwrights all over the world, nine short plays will be presented June 30 - July 9. Performances are Thursdays and Fridays at 8:00 p.m., and Saturdays at 3:00 and 8:00 p.m. at Rover Dramawerks, located in Ruisseau Village at 221 W. Rover Dramawerks is pleased to continue their 15th Anniversary Season with the award-winning comedy-drama 18 Holes, by Gene Kato. Performances will be at Rover's new theatre in Plano, located in Ruisseau Village at 221 W. Parker Rd, Suite 580, at the northwest corner of Parker and 75. Performances are April 23 - May 16, 2015, with shows on Thursdays, Fridays, and Todays at 8:00 p.m., plus an additional matinee performance today, May 2 at 2:00 p.m.
