2013 Ivey Award recipient Freshwater Theatre Company finishes their season with the world premiere of Mrs. Charles, a brand new LGBT historical romance by playwright, historian, Freshwater Co- Artistic Director and author of 2010 Fringe hit Table 12: A Play at a Wedding Ruth Virkus*, directed by Jimmy LeDuc, theater faculty at Saint Paul College and freelance director whose recent credits include Dangerous Liaisons in Minneapolis and Grey Gardens in Atlanta, Georgia.

Tony Award-Winner Adriane Lenox (After Midnight, Doubt), Tony Award-nominees Anita Gillette (Neil Simon's Chapter Two) & Robert Cuccioli (Jekyll & Hyde), Drama Desk-nominees Aaron Lazar (LES MISERABLES, A Little Night Music), Patrick Page (Spider Man: Turn Off the Dark, Cyrano, the upcoming Casa Valentina by Harvey Fierstein), Nancy Anderson (Jolson & Company, Wonderful Town, A Class Act), and Jeffry Denman (Yank!, Irving Berlin's White Christmas) were among the many stars to appear in Town Hall's Broadway by the Year Series last night- THE BROADWAY MUSICALS OF 1940-1964. On Monday, April 15, the Broadway at Birdland concert series presented the very first UKE NIGHT!, featuring ukulele performances by Broadway performers Marc Kudisch, Nancy Anderson, Clarke Thorell, Lauren Molina, Jason Poole, Erin Denman, Bev Ward, Kevin Worley, Hannah Elless, Mara Davi, Aaron Gaines, Brittney Bertier, and others. The evening was produced and hosted by Jeffry Denman. All proceeds will go to the Daniel Barden (one of the Sandy Hook children) Family Fund. Scroll down for photos from the concert!

The Broadway at Birdland concert series will present the very first UKE NIGHT! tonight, April 15 at 7pm, featuring Ukulele performances by Broadway performers Marc Kudisch, Howard McGillin, Nancy Anderson, Clarke Thorell, Lauren Molina, Jason Poole and others. The evening will be hosted by Jeffry Denman. Proceeds will go towards The Daniel Barden Family Fund. Daniel was one of the children lost in the Sandy Hook Tragedy.
