UKE NIGHT! was an evening completely dedicated to the "Jumpin Flea" - the Ukulele. These Broadway stars delved into the history of the uke starting with its Hawaiian origins and its explosion in the US in the 1920's all the way to its current pop music resurgence. UKE NIGHT! was an eclectic mix of traditional Hawaiian, American Songbook, Broadway, Rock, Contemporary and original songs featuring some of Broadways biggest stars playing their ukuleles.
