AS YOU LIKE IT was adapted by Public Theater Artist-in-Residence Shaina Taub and Director of Public Works Laurie Woolery, with music and lyrics by Shaina Taub. The production began performances on Wednesday, August 10 and will run through Sunday, September 11, with an official press opening on Tuesday, August 30. See photos here!

The Public Theater will begin previews for the Free Shakespeare in the Park production of Public Works’ AS YOU LIKE IT on Wednesday, August 10. Continuing the 60th Anniversary Season at The Delacorte Theater, Public Works’ AS YOU LIKE IT will run through Sunday, September 11, with an official press opening on Tuesday, August 30.

In Spring 2019, the Downtown Urban Arts Festival (DUAF) will return for its much-anticipated 17th annual season. Reg E. Gaines, Tony-nominated for Bring in da Noise Bring in da Funk, is back as the Artistic Director of the festival. After his evaluation of scripts that were received from across the U.S., the following writers and their plays were selected as the finalists for the 2019 season.
