Carlos Del Amo and Lua Rios - who record and perform as Gold Lake - have shared a new single “North Of Something.” The song is taken off their forthcoming album Weightless, co-produced by Aaron Dessner of the National and Chris Taylor of Grizzly Bear who plays on the new single.  

Over the last 20 years Flamenco Festival has become an essential way to discover the best flamenco music and dance in New York. From March 12th to April 5th the festival celebrates its 20th anniversary with the largest flamenco event ever presented outside Spain.

Santa Barbara Acoustic Music Association presents SBAcoustic, a highly anticipated celebratory series beginning September 14 with the opening weekend of live international acoustic music concerts, guitar workshops, and artisanal guitar show at the New Vic Theatre.

The McAninch Arts Center (MAC) has been selected to receive $10,000 in funding from National Endowment for the Arts (NEA)'s Arts Engagement in American Communities program. This program supports arts projects in all artistic disciplines in communities across the United States with the goal to engage the public in diverse and excellent art in geographic areas underrepresented in the NEA's grantmaking portfolio.  

McAninch Arts Center (MAC), located at 425 Fawell Blvd., hosts a festive Tickets On-Sale Party, Saturday, Aug. 4, in the MAC lobby, 10 a.m.-1 p.m. The event will feature tours of the theaters, gifts for the first 100 buyers, drawings for prizes every half hour, live piano music by COD faculty member Steven Havens and free food and drink.  Patrons will also enjoy the opportunity to chat with representatives of Buffalo Theatre Ensemble, New Philharmonic and the MAC; enjoy personal attention from box office staff; and receive savings on handling fees and access to prime theater seating.

Today, the McAninch Arts Center (MAC) announced its 2018-2019 season, its fifth season since the venue's grand reopening in 2014 at 425 Fawell Blvd. on the campus of the College of DuPage. In recent years, the MAC has been attracting more than 100,000 patrons annually to more than 200 performances, solidifying its position as an essential source of arts and entertainment for DuPage and surrounding communities. The MAC 2018-2019 season programming reflects this broad appeal with an eclectic mix of music, dance, theater, comedy, film and family entertainment from September 2018 through June 2019. Given its commitment to fostering the sense of community, the MAC is introducing a new series of post-show "Common Ground Conversations" and continues its popular MAC Chats and VIP receptions.

Anoche se estrenó oficialmente el musical Avenue Q en el Teatro Nuevo Apolo de Madrid. Numerosas caras conocidas se dieron cita en este evento, entre las que no faltaron Innocence, Paula Sebastián, Daniel Freire, Manu Guix, Ángel Llàcer, y el ganador del Premio Tony Jeff Marx, creador del show original.

El 15 de Septiembre tuvo lugar la presentación a los medios de Avenue Q en el Teatro Nuevo Apolo de Madrid. Las previas comenzarán el próximo día 17, y el estreno oficial tendrá lugar el día 23.

Hoy han dado comienzo las audiciones de Avenida Q, el musical, en el Teatro Nuevo Apolo de Madrid que se ha llenado de artistas... y sus marionetas hechas a mano. Más de 600 serán los aspirantes para este musical dirigido por Gabriel Olivares que se estrenará el próximo 27 de Agosto.
