Next up on SummerStage is The Rock Steady Crew's 36th Anniversary Concert featuring a reunion performance by Pete Rock & C.L Smooth, Brand Nubian (Sadat X, Lord Jamar and Grand Puba), Special Ed and Craig G with Q-Unique, Homeboy Sandman, Torae and Rasheed Chappell. The July 28 show is a part of the 'This is Hip Hop' series and will be hosted by EOW with DJ Evil Dee and DJ JS-1. The show runs from 3:00-7:00 p.m. in Central Park with a recommended arrival time of 2:00 p.m.

Theatre in the Square revisits Lillian Hellman’s American Classic, The Little Foxes

Theatre in the Square's first season included a revival of the 1939 Broadway hit, The Little Foxes. In the theatre's 29th Season, the American classic of greed, deception, corruption and manipulation will once again grace the Main Stage of the converted cotton warehouse that is now Theatre in the Square. Kilpatrick Named Associate Artistic Director at Lyric Theatre

Atlanta Lyric Theatre Artistic Director and General Manager Brandt Blocker announced today that Alan Kilpatrick, a local award-winning actor and director, will assume the position of associate artistic director for the 31-year-old musical theatre company. In addition to Kilpatrick, Daniel Pattillo has been hired as the company's new full-time technical director and Amy McGuire, current box office manager, has been promoted to business and administrative manager.

Pulitzer Prize-nominated play about two women writers at opposite stages of their careers is one of SCR?s best-known commissions and has achieved worldwide success.
