Wellfleet Harbor Actors Theater presents the world premiere of The Pickleball Wars, by Kevin Rice, directed by Daisy Walker. Performances run Tuesdays through Saturdays, August 11 to September 9 at 8 p.m. Preview performances at 7:30 p.m. on August 9 and 10 are discounted and open to the public.

Following the success of their delightfully different season opener, Everything is Established, Wellfleet's Harbor Stage Company, continues their sixth summer of serious fun with David Mamet's modern classic Glengarry Glen Ross.  An unrelenting look at the vicious underbelly of masculinity and ambition, Glengarry follows of a group of Chicago real estate salesmen as they jockey for commissions, leads, and personal standing.

Cape Rep Theatre's 32nd season opens with the Cape Cod Premier of Richard Nelson's Regular Singing. 

So saying, the plot of John Patrick Shanley's Outside Mullingar shows just disheartening it is when four characters are discovered to have been strangers for so long due to those undisclosed feelings that have eaten away at their souls for so long; when the time for changes arises, the obstacles which arise and the way in which each character reacts makes this such an epic story. How disheartening it is for four people to have lived over the last few years with the "what is" as the unchanging doctrine of their reality, living in anticipation of something that may or may not come and meandering in this life until fate sticks her ugly hand in to change the bleak, unmoving world that such characters inhabit. Yet, how beautiful it is to see four wildly talented actors bring such inner turmoil to a head in Cape Rep's current production of Shanley's epic play.

Today we are continuing our 30-day Tony Awards countdown - ending, of course, on the 2012 Tony Awards, June 10 - with a salute to a Tony-winning Best Musical directed and choreographed by the one and only Tommy Tune and composed by Maury Yeston - NINE. Based on Federico Fellini's 8 ½, NINE is a surrealistic concept musical that concerns itself with the mid-life crisis of a glamorous Italian film director and the many, many women in his life - his wife, his mother, his mistress, his muse, his agent and many, many more.

Florida Repertory Theatre presents A Little More Than You Wanted to Spend, a new play written and performed by Florida Rep Associate Artistic Director, Chris Clavelli. Spend is a one-man tour-de-force that leads the audience down a harrowing, darkly hysterical journey of despair and spiritual triumph, playing in the Florida Rep Studio Theatre on March 20 and 21 at 8pm.
