Director Tucker Curtis leads his team of actors and designers to bring Ken Ludwig's The Game's Afoot to the stage from June 3rd through the 12th in what promises to be a laugh-riot of holiday hijinx! Scenic Designer Damen Mroczek transforms the Wilson Theatre into William Gillette's New England mansion.

South Bend Civic Theatre presents Neil Simon's Pulitzer Prize and Tony Award winning comedy Lost in Yonkers January 9-25, 2015 in the Warner Theatre, 403 N Main Street in South Bend. Hailed as "the best play Neil Simon ever wrote" - New York Post, Lost in Yonkers tells the funny and poignant story of Jay and Arty, two teenage boys in 1942. When their recently widowed father has to take a travelling sales job, he leaves his sons to their Grandmother in Yonkers. The boys find life challenging and bewildering around their eccentric relatives: strict German immigrant Grandma Kurnitz, child-like Aunt Bella, and mobster Uncle Louie. Simon's play explores the hardship, pain, humor and love of these richly drawn characters.

Two down on their luck actors decide to impersonate a dying widow's nephews to inherit her fortune. The only problem is the nephews are actually nieces! Dressing up as gals and meeting the locals leads to one hilarious predicament after another as the guys face romantic entanglements and madcap antics.
