Frank Sinatra is remembered and celebrated in the one-man musical memoir, “My Sinatra” by Cary Hoffman. A hit off-Broadway show and a National PBS television special, Hoffman will perform his concert version at The Ridgefield Playhouse on Sunday, October 2, 2022 at 4pm as part of the Teed & Brown Broadway & Cabaret Series.

Tribute shows to iconic entertainers celebrating a centennial birthday in 2015 seem to be all the rage this year. But nobody has been celebrated more in cabaret variety shows than Frank Sinatra—and rightly so. Wall Street Journal entertainment columnist Will Friedwald, also a producer and author who wrote the 1997 book Sinatra! The Song Is You—A Singer's Art, this past Saturday presented the biggest (and longest) tribute to “Ol' Blue Eyes” so far this year with Sinatra-Thon at The Cutting Room (co-curated with performer Cary Hoffman), a potpourri of events running from 10 am to an after-midnight jam, and which included varied live entertainment, rare film clips, and panel discussions.

On Saturday May 9, the Cutting Room was the scene of the SinatraThon - billed as "day long (14 hour) marathon celebration of the Man and his Music." Check out photos from the show below!

In celebration of Frank Sinatra's 100th birthday, the critically acclaimed PBS special, 'My Sinatra' starring Cary Hoffman, comes to Patchogue Theatre for the Performing Arts (PTPA) on Saturday, March 21, at 8 p.m. Cary Hoffman turns his celebrated PBS television special into a biographical, often hilarious, and poignant one-man musical play about his love and idolization for his hero Frank Sinatra, and the perils of wanting to become somebody else.

The popular Musical Mondays series continues at Le Cirque with Jazz & Cabaret performer Sabrina Wender. A singer-songwriter, dancer and actress, Sabrina Wender has a true passion for the arts. She has recorded a CD of pop music in Italy and also has an in-depth knowledge of American Jazz and Swing music of the 30s and 40s. As a teenager, Sabrina attended summer courses at the High School of Performing Arts in New York and has continued to further her musical studies both in Europe and the U.S. She has composed original ballad songs and soundtracks for documentaries about Italy which she produced and edited herself. As a dancer, Sabrina studied ballet at the Royal Academy of Dance and jazz at the California Club in Milan and currently attends The Steps School in New York. She has performed in music videos for Sting and Zucchero in collaboration with choreographers Momix and David Parsons. Sabrina has appeared on various television programs, including the Italian TV Network RAI where she was the female lead performer on the Saturday evening variety program "Rido." She also studied acting at Thomas G. Waites Acting Studio in New York.In her performances, Sabrina loves to sing Italian "La Dolce Vita" music, American Jazz Standards and Bossanova, all accented by her dancing and passion for the rhythm.
