BIO

Candice Nicole has performed extensively in theatre, film, tv an voice overs. She played the factory girl and understudied Fantine in the closing Broadway National Tour of Les Miserables and played Scallops Who in the Broadway LA Production of How the Grinch Stole Christmas with John Larroquette and Danny Gurwin. She reprised her role in How the Grinch Stole Christmas at Madison Square Garden in New York City and has played leads in numerous regional theatre productions. Some favorites include: Ariel (Footloose), Dorothy (Wizard of Oz), Martha Jefferson (1776), Sandy (Grease), Wendy (Peter Pan, opposite Adam Lambert), Lucy U/S (Jekyll & Hyde), Columbia (Rocky Horror Picture Show), Liesl (Sound of Music). Candice has traveled all over the world as a guest artist in Disney in Concert performing with Symphony Orchestras and has headlined with symphonies such as the National Symphony at the Kennedy Center amongst many others. Some tv/film/VoiceOver credits include: Young Buffy (Buffy the Vampire Slayer), Toffee (Zombie Prom, opposite Rupaul and Katy Mixon), Princess Luciana (Barbie: The Island Princess).

On March 30, the Houston Symphony will present a one-night-only performance of favorite Disney music. Four talented vocalists will join the orchestra as musical memories jump to life with Disney animation, film clips and original storyboard art projected on the big screen above the stage. While every generation has a favorite Disney movie, this concert is perfect for audiences of all ages who share a common love for the songs accompanying the iconic films. Houston Symphony Associate Conductor Robert Franz will lead the orchestra and soloists in songs from Disney movies such as The Little Mermaid, Beauty and the Beast, Pocahontas, Aladdin, The Lion King and more.
