Hang onto your hats! Actress Judy Rosenblatt IS Peggy Guggenheim in "Woman Before a Glass", a play by Lanie Robertson, coming to Catskill's Bridge Street Theatre for three performances only August 10-12, 2018.

The dynamic classical trio Riot with Three Alison Davy, soprano, Javier Oviedo, saxophone, and Gene Rohrer, piano make a triumphant return to Catskill's intimate Bridge Street Theatre on Saturday September 30 at 7:30 pm with an eclectic evening of contemporary and classical chamber works entitled 'The Nature of Music'. In this exquisite and wide-ranging program, which includes works by Handel, Hoiby, Assad, Laitman, Arnold, and Borgia, the ensemble celebrates everything from the grandeur of the great outdoors to sugar addiction with a vibrant combination of unbridled joy and dazzling technical expertise.

Avast, landlubbers! Climb aboard the 'Worthy Vessel' at Catskill's Bridge Street Theatre for a Concert Reading of "SOUTH: A Nautical Musical" on Sunday August 27 at 2:00 in the afternoon.

This Memorial Day weekend, Catskill's Bridge Street Theatre will give you a chance to strut your stuff, whatever it may be, when they present a Performathon Fundraiser in their beautiful new Mainstage auditorium. Want to haul out that old accordion or maybe see your child perform her magic act on the stage of a professional theatre? Or perhaps you'll hear your neighbor play ukulele, sponsor your plumber to come and tap dance, or enjoy your friend from work reciting his Shakespeare sonnet or performing that song from Les Mis. Now's your chance!  The organization's first-ever Performathon is the culminating event of the theatre's push to raise $35,000 for its Capital Campaign. All proceeds go toward the Campaign and all donations are tax deductible.

And the first installment will feature series curator (and part time Catskill resident) Tom Andersen himself in an exhilarating evening of tunes from the Great American Songbook, Broadway, Country Music, and his own teeming and talented brain called 'My Favorite Sings'. And to give the evening an even more distinctive 'local' twist, Mr. Andersen will be joined onstage by Jumbo Bungalow - the husband-and-wife team of Catskill ukulele virtuoso extraordinaire Carmen Borgia and BST's own resident diva (and star of their production of SOUVENIR) Alison Davy.

On October 25, 1944, wealthy (and tone-deaf) soprano Florence Foster Jenkins and her accompanist Cosme McMoon performed a recital at Carnegie Hall. Tickets sold out weeks in advance; an estimated 2,000 people were turned away at the door. The world of music has never quite recovered. Come share the hilarious and touching tale of this unlikely pair in the musical "Souvenir" at Catskill's Bridge Street Theatre March 16th through the 26th. Under Artistic Director Lucine Amara, one of the Metropolitan Opera's most luminary performers, the company presents each opera with a full cast onSunday, October 20, 3:00 p.m., at the Bergen Performing Arts Center (bergenPAC), 30 North Van Brunt Street, in Englewood, New Jersey. The bergenPAC is handicapped accessible.
