Alexander Hogg

Alexander Hogg is an English actor, writer, composer and lyricist.

Training: The University of Chichester Conservatoire BA (Hons) Musical Theatre (Triple Threat) and Academy Award-Winner Rachel Shenton's Midlands Screen Acting School.

On stage, perhaps most notably, Alex appeared as the principal characters, Ollie and Child Gordon Shakespeare in Nativity! The Musical from 2017 - 2019 on three separate No.1 UK tours. During the original 2017 production, he also played the Oakmoor pupil Rupert when not performing as Ollie. His successful stint in the show then led on to him working with the show's creator and director, Debbie Isitt, again in the fourth film in her Nativity! series - Nativity Rocks! as a leading member of the St Bernadette's class.

He has also appeared in commercials for global brands such as AXA Insurance playing a Bullied Boy in their #KnowYouCan Ad campaign (Iconoclast, Paris / Cartel) and Lidl GB playing a Cricket Umpire in their Big On British and Big On A British Summer adverts (Outsider TV) in 2022 and '23 respectively. Alongside his Nativity! The Musical cast mates, Alex performed on Sam & Mark's Big Christmas Wind-Up for CBBC in 2018.

In 2026, Alex made his debut as a writer and composer when he created For King and Country. The four-part scripted comedy-drama podcast series was released onto all major platforms throughout March and later received a radio broadcast.

On 12th April 2026, Kit, a short film by Lottie Amor from the Oscar-Winning team at Slick Films had it's global premiere at Cleveland International Film Festival. Alex plays Lackey in the film.

On 24th April 2026, Iconoclast released GENER8ION & Yung Lean: STORM I & II. The double music video short film was met with an incredibly positive reception, becoming a viral sensation and amassing just over 13 million views in one month alone. The Romain Gavras directed video, which stars Alex alongside Swedish rapped Yung Lean, later featured as part of the immersive exhibition GENER8ION: VISIONS OF 2034 at London's 180 Studios.

Alex also features as a singer on the Nativity! The Musical Original Cast Recording (Nativity! Theatre Ltd.) and Nativity Rocks! Original Motion Picture Soundtrack (Mirrorball Films Ltd.).
