Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts presents a special community giveback event with a unique performance of Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers in Concert. On August 9, 2024, 70 special guests will enjoy a live symphony accompaniment to the Oscar-winning film, featuring Maestro Shih-Hung Young and soloist Kaitlyn Lusk participating in a pre-show Q&A. The evening aims to foster community engagement while providing attendees with exclusive memorabilia and light refreshments. The event is part of the arts center's initiative to connect with local organizations and enhance cultural experiences.
