All hell is breaking loose at SNAP! Productions as this hilarious and provocative new comedy lands direct from Broadway, where the New York Times hailed it “flat-out hilarious” and the New Yorker called it “Sesame Street meets The Exorcist”. If Book of Mormon and Avenue Q had a baby it would be Hand to God. Like nothing you’ve seen before, this blasphemous Broadway hit is a ruthless comedy about sex, sinners, and sock puppets. Written by Robert Askins and directed by Roxanne Wach, Hand to God makes its Omaha premiere on November 17 and runs thru December 11, 2016.

“To me it’s like South Park and The Muppets tried to put on a show. One moment you are gasping and the next moment you are uncontrollably laughing,” states Todd Brooks, Producer and President of SNAP! Productions.

One dead father, one messed up family, one girl who just wants to help, one school bully who always gets his way, one man of the church offering comfort and one hand puppet who is completely out of control - he’s shocking, dangerous and taking no prisoners. In a church basement in a small Texas town, the teens of a Christian puppet ministry gather to bring the Word to the Flock. But one puppet takes on a foul-mouthed, demonic life of its own—unleashing the community’s barely repressed lust and rage. Hand to God is like nothing you’ve seen before. “A maliciously delicious black comedy” -The Washington Post
Wach has amassed a great cast of actors to bring to life this sinister, dark comedic thrill ride: MaryBeth Adams (Margery), Scott Fowler (Pastor Greg), Roni Shelley Perez (Jessica), Jon Roberson (Jason/Tyrone) and Tyler Swain (Timothy). Hand To God is fortunate to have assembled the following production staff: Dan Wach (Lights and Sound Tech), Roxanne Wach (Specialty Properties/Sound Design), Melissa Linn (Stage Manager), Rhonda Hall (Property Design), Todd Brooks (Producer), Leah Skorupa (Costume Design), Laura Renae Hensley (Lighting Design), Dan and Rox Wach (Puppet Design), Hand of Heartland (Set Construction) and Dan Wach/Beau Fisher (Scenic Design).
