Joan Rivers has been called "a force of nature and one of the hardest working celebrities" in the world. An entertainment legend of unparalleled accomplishment and talent, she's an international comic icon. She is also a Tony-nominated actress, best-selling author, EmmyAward-winning television talk show host, playwright, screenwriter, motion picture director, columnist, lecturer, syndicated radio host, jewelry designer and cosmetic company entrepreneur, red carpet fashion laureate, businesswoman - and most importantly, a proud mother and grandmother.

Rivers has enjoyed an illustrious career spanning more than four decades in the entertainment industry and beyond. She embodies class, confidence and chutzpah and her accomplishments are extraordinary and reveal she's as robust and hard-working as ever.

She and her daughter Melissa have a reality series on WEtv called Joan and Melissa: Joan Knows Best? Season Three premieres on Saturday, February 23 at 9:00 p.m. Eastern time on WEtv and will air every Saturday night thereafter through April 13.

She also hosts E!'s popular Fashion Police weekly series as well as E! Entertainment Television's popular franchise Fashion Police, where she covers red carpet style for the annual awards season.

In 2009, she was the Season Two winner of NBC's hit reality series The Celebrity Apprentice. Her highly praised documentary Joan Rivers: A Piece of Work is available on DVD. She's published two critically acclaimed, best-selling books: Men Are Stupid and They Like Big Boobs: A Woman's Guide to Beauty Through Plastic Surgery and Murder at the Academy Awards: A Red Carpet Murder Mystery. Her new book, I Hate Everyone...Starting with Me, has been in bookstores since last June and is doing well.

Comedian Brad Stewart, a Nebraska native, has worked with Joan Rivers dozens of times and will open for her at the Holland Performing Arts Center. Last year Stewart was an emcee when Omaha Performing Arts presented the Great American Comedy Festival.

The Melbourne Australia Herald Sun critic declared Rivers "a maniac: smart, sassy, switchblade sharp and fabulously foul-mouthed." She will be dishing up her famous brand of irreverent, unconventional comedy in her one-woman show, An Evening with Joan Rivers at the Holland Performing Arts Center, Saturday, March 16, 2013 at 8:00 p.m.
