CLICK CLACK MOO: Cows That Type Plays the Rose Theatre, 3/30-4/15

By: Mar. 16, 2012

With barnyard literacy rates on the rise, the tables are about to turn in Click, Clack, Moo: Cows That Type, March 30 - April 15 at The Rose. After the cows find an old typewriter they take a stand for better working conditions. Will Farmer Brown negotiate? Find out in this musical based on the Caldecott Medal-winning book.

“The message of peaceful protest will appeal to the more rebellious youngsters in the audience, and the resulting give and take provides a great opportunity for parents to talk about cooperation,” said director Kevin Ehrhart.

Click, Clack, Moo: Cows That Type is recommended for ages four and older.  The show will be presented March 30 – April 15 with performances every Friday at 7 pm and every Saturday at 2 pm.  Additional shows will be offered  at 7 pm on Saturday, March 31st and Saturday, April 14th; and at 2 and 4:30 pm on Sunday, April 1st and Sunday, April 15th.

Tickets are $16 each.  Reservations can be made by calling The Rose Box Office at (402) 345-4849 or online at www.rosetheater.org.  Discount ticket vouchers are available at all area Hy-Vee Food Stores.
