Set aboard a train speeding along the California coast, The Coast Starlight is a quietly searing drama that imagines what’s unsaid—the confessions, fantasies, and regrets of six strangers who cross paths on a single train ride. Told through an innovative blend of storytelling, projection design, and original musical composition, the production explores the stories we carry and the moments that could change everything—if only we chose to speak up.

“This project brings together a collection of local artists from different mediums—stage and film artists, visual artists, and musical artists,” said director Rodney Brazil. “While art always finds a way to live, in a time when funding sources are shifting, it’s important to adapt—finding new ways to give artists a platform and creating experiences that connect with local audiences through the talents of our own community.”
The Coast Starlight offers a rare opportunity to experience a deeply human story brought to life through cross-disciplinary collaboration—don’t miss this powerful new production.
