Pygmalion at Storyteller Theatre OKC

Before there was My Fair Lady, there was PYGMALION! And you've probably not seen either quite like this. And hey, you probably don't know Pygmalion (or maybe even My Fair Lady), but that's why we think you're gonna love it.... At its heart, it's a story about a woman who's told she's not good enough — solely because of the way she talks and dresses. Until two gents come along, to take up a bet, to see if they can change her. But it turns out that maybe Eliza has a few things to teach them, too. We've moved this story from London to New Orleans — 1910s, where Southern manners and expectations make everything more fun (and maybe more familiar). If you like comedies that make you feel something, and give you plenty to talk about on the drive home, then you just have to see Shaw's PYGMALION. Running August 6-15!
