OCTAFest 2012 Set for 7/11-15; Bootcamp Slated for 3/3

By: Jan. 28, 2012

Mark your calendars for July 11-15 in Tonkawa. Chris Williams and ReACT (Regional Actors Community Theatre) will host our state theatre festival on the campus of Northern Oklahoma College. Our larger theatre family will have a chance to meet, greet and network together as lunch and dinner meals are provided with registration.

Ponca Playhouse will be hosting an after glow party, and each company will be given a Stake that they can personalize and compete to see who has the most creative company.

If your theatre has never participated, send a representative to OCTA’s Boot Camp on March 3 at 1:00 pm at the OCTA office at 720 W. Wilshire Blvd. (OKC) to learn all the ins and outs of bringing a production. Join in the Marketing Contest with posters, programs, season brochures, t-shirts etc. on display and awarded prizes. In any case plan on attending the festival where you can see great Oklahoma theatre and hear three expert adjudicators critique the productions. You will have the opportunity to vote for your choice as best production, attend workshops and get in touch with old friends and meet new ones. We are looking forward to having your company Stake Your Claim as one of Oklahoma’s Best Theatres.
