Staten Island, NY – July 2025 – Spotlight Theatre Summer Stock Company proudly presents Ride the Cyclone: The Musical (High School Edition.  In this hilarious and outlandish story, the lives of six teenagers from a Canadian chamber choir are cut short in a freak accident aboard a roller coaster. When they awake in limbo, a mechanical fortune teller invites each to tell a story to win a prize like no other — the chance to return to life. This popular musical is a funny, moving look at what makes a life well-lived! This dark comedic musical will take place at The Staten Island Playhouse 55 Richmond Terrace. The theatre is just steps away from The Staten Island Ferry and easily accessible via public transportation.

As each teen tells their story through bold musical numbers, the audience is taken on an unforgettable emotional ride. This thrilling and darkly comedic musical features some of Staten Island's amazing talent and rising stars. Haley Vogel as Ocean, Monica Ugarte as Constance, Ash Farley as Jane Doe, Jaiden Cavallo as Mishca, Ryan Gill as Ricky, Joshua Piper as Noel, Matthew Homme as Karnak. The cast is made complete with the incredible ensemble members, John Gainer, Jaclyn Ferber, Kahealani Cavallo, Kai Moyer, Lillian Meagher, Christina Sirakis, and Angela Leszina
