The Madison Junior HS Orchestra opens the program with the triumphant sweep of Holst’s Jupiter from The Planets and the sparkling brilliance of Bach’s Brandenburg Concerto No. 5. The Floyd Central Wind Ensemble follows with vivid storytelling in Michael Markowski’s City Trees and the soulful lyricism of Florence Price’s The Old Boatman.
