The Weird Sisters at Howe Theatre

"The Weird Sisters" is a wrold premiere of a musical written by composer in residence, Jonathan Fadner, as a part of Main Street Theatre and Dance Alliance's Make-a-Musical program. This unique children's theatre program from Jonathan and Kimbirdlee Fadner creates shows written for the students involved. This show asks the question, "What happens to the 'weird sisters' after the play Macbeth?" Drawing on literary themes from Shakespeare and Greek mythology, this musical is an irreverrent and wild ride through a child's imagination. Fadner's skillful writing is approachable and accessible to children both as performers and audience members. We are excited to share that this year's show was the recipient of a grant from the National Endowment for the Arts.
