UCB New York Hosts a One-Night-Only Sketch Comedy Showcase Featuring Talent from TV’s Biggest Hits

New York, NY – August 9, 2025 – Comedy fans, mark your calendars. On Saturday, August 9 at 9:00 PM, Upright Citizens Brigade New York will host “Seven Up: A Sketch Comedy Showcase,” an electric hour of original comedy featuring a cast of rising stars and seasoned pros from coast to coast.

With a combined résumé spanning Brooklyn Nine-Nine, Jury Duty, Sugar, The Daily Show, Dave, Chicago Fire, The Chi, Smosh, Teachers, Toon In with Me, and more, this all-star lineup of writers and performers brings fresh, unfiltered voices to the legendary UCB stage.

“Everyone in this cast is so smart, funny, and unique,” says director Eileen Montelione. “We have so much fun creating together, I forget we’re working sometimes. What a dream team.”

Eileen Montelione
Director, Head Writer, Ensemble
(SAG-AFTRA, AEA) has written, performed & directed all over the world, from La Jolla Playhouse to Geva to The Moscow State Theatre. In addition to her extensive Commercial & VO resume, she’s created shows at Second City, UCB, The Annoyance, iO, Westside Comedy & many venues & festivals worldwide. Now in LA, Eileen spends her time writing for & acting on screen. Thanks to her wonderful cast; her supportive mentors: Luigi, Jay, Bill, Carl, Bill & Melanie; her team at DPN: Jennifer, Trish, Kama, David & Vince. Jacklyn Uweh
Producer, Ensemble
(SAG-AFTRA, AEA) is an actor, writer, and producer, fresh off The Second City New York Mainstage. A California native, she began in community theater and later co-founded The Soulstice League sketch ensemble at UC Irvine. Stage credits include Hairspray, Striking 12, and CBS Showcase. She’s appeared on The Daily Show, in national commercials (McDonald’s, Plenity, Cricket Wireless), and voiced work for Paladins and Wondery Media. Kevin Aguilar
Assistant Director, Ensemble
is a Los Angeles based writer, actor, and comedian from Ontario, California. Kevin started his comedy career at The Second City Hollywood; and, upon completing the Conservatory Program, he went on to Assistant Direct a Premium Revue called Once Upon a Good Time; directed by Eileen Montelione. He also wrote and acted in several sketch groups during that time, including the House Ensemble, Spice Rack. Since then, Kevin has penned multiple television pilots including: Lakeside, The Lottery, and Procrastinators.
Audrey Goodman
Ensemble
is a comedy writer, performer and director, born in San Diego, now based in Los Angeles. She was a writer on NBC’s Brooklyn Nine-Nine and most recently has been producing a show she wrote, directed and is performing in, Degrassi: The Unauthorized Musical - check us out @degrassithemusical. She’s also known for her sketch channel on YouTube and TikTok, Horse Door. Audrey studied comedy at The Second City Hollywood (RIP), the Groundlings and through her time at UC Irvine where she got her BA in Drama. Follow her @itsaudreygoodman.
Yazmin Ramos
Ensemble
(she/her) is an actor/comedian/writer from Chicago, based in NYC. She most recently performed with Second City New York’s Inaugural Mainstage Ensemble and is an alum of The Second City National Touring Company. Other Credits: The Revolution Will Be Improvised at the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts. The Holy Fuck Comedy Hour (AnnoyanceTheatre), Hitch*Cocktails (High Stakes Productions) and small roles on TV. She has also worked as a staff writer for MeTV. Dave Snook
Ensemble
is a comedy writer and performer from Boston, now based in Los Angeles. He has performed at comedy venues like The Second City Hollywood, iO West, UCB LA, and The Pack Theater. His sketch team was featured in Vulture's "Best Livestream Comedy Shows to Watch While Quarantining". He has also participated in Sketch festivals in New York City, Chicago, and the Hollywood Fringe Festival. Whether performing live or developing original scripts, he combines his East Coast wicked awesomeness with West Coast creativity. He is currently presented by Feral Talent.
Ron Song
Ensemble
is currently an actor with an MFA in sculpture & performance art from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. Before acting he spent 20 years in support of higher education. He can be seen in the Emmy & Golden Globe nominated series Jury Duty as Ken Hyun, on Amazon Prime. He can also be seen in the short films: Advent which won the jury prize for Best Short Narrative at PAFF, and My Father’s Wedding, selected in the Hollyshorts Film Festival. He is a father of 2 boys and husband to an Ironman Triathlete artist wife. He should have led with that.
