Working Man's Clothes Productions, the New York Innovative Theatre Award winning company that has presented To Nineveh, fuckplays, Penetrator, New York Is Dead, and the upcoming 52 Man Pick-Up with Desiree Burch at the NY International Fringe Festival, will be bringing the 3rd and Final Annual New York City Binge Festival: BINGE Olympiad to the West Village in mid-August. A Late-Night Alternative to the NY International Fringe Festival, BINGE Olympiad is designed as an irreverent and quality escape for the thousands of Fringe Festival Participants – out of towners looking to let loose after their performances, local patrons who are looking to network with Fringe artists, and NYC-based theatre companies with productions in the NY Fringe.
This year's festival has also been expanded to compliment the Summer Olympics in Beijing which will be occurring in synch with both the NY International Fringe Festival and BINGE Olympiad. In honor of this international event, the Binge will include competitive eating and drinking-based theatrical events all with a trusty E.M.T. on hand for fun and safety. Keg masters in the aisles and great work from New York City's most talented young emerging playwrights, directors, musicians, actors, and comedians!
