One of the funniest performers gracing New York's stages, Christine Pedi has made a career out of impersonating great legends of Broadway like Elaine Stritch, Bernadette Peters, Angela Lansbury and Liza Minnelli

Fortunately for Broadway legend Len Cariou, Pedi saves her satirical daggers for the ladies and leaves the boys alone.

The two are Theatre Row neighbors now, as Christine Pedi continues cutting capers in the headline-spoofing revue NEWSical as she welcomes Len Cariou's BROADWAY & THE BARD to the block.

Together, they regale us with a bit of a Cole Porter classic.

In BROADWAY AND THE BARD, universally acclaimed stage and screen veteran Len Cariou gives full voice to an idea that he has harbored since his first prophetic Broadway season of Henry V and Applause; Combining his two great loves -Shakespeare and American Musical Comedy - into one rich and diverse tapestry; outfitting trenchant classical soliloquies and sonnets with inventive musical pairings from beloved writers of the Great White Way - an eighty-minute melding of superb soliloquy and memorable song by a one-of-a-kind master actor of exquisite vintage in what the Bard might refer to as "a most rare vision."

The performance schedule for BROADWAY AND THE BARD is: Tuesday at 7pm, Wednesday at 8pm, Thursday & Friday at 8pm, Saturday at 2pm & 8pm, Sunday at 3pm.
