Elvis is in the building! Riverside Center will be rockin’ this winter as HEARTBREAK HOTEL takes center stage. From the creator of the Tony Award-winning smash-hit Million Dollar Quartet, this high-energy Elvis bio-musical runs from Wednesday, January 8, 2025, through Sunday, March 2, 2025, at Riverside Center for the Performing Arts.

Written by Sean Cercone & David Abbinanti and based on a concept by Floyd Mutrux, this production takes an in-depth look at the incomparable icon whose impact shaped the history of music and culture. Trapped in a moment of crisis, Elvis’ younger self guides him through pivotal moments of his life that led him to become “The King of Rock and Roll.” HEARTBREAK HOTEL features over 40 Elvis hits and iconic songs including, “That’s All Right,” “All Shook Up,” “Burning Love,” “Hound Dog,” “Love Me Tender,” “Don’t Be Cruel,” “Jailhouse Rock,” “Are You Lonesome,” and “Blue Suede Shoes.”

Starring as “The King” himself is NYC based actor, Elliott Litherland. Litherland has worked at numerous highly regarded regional theaters across the country and brings a wealth of talent and experience to lead this top-notch cast. Two rising local stars will be portraying the younger versions of Elvis as Luke Purcell and Grayson Lewis take on the roles of Teen Elvis and Kid Elvis respectively. Elvis’ mother, Gladys Presley, is played by Sheri Hayden and Elvis’ long-time manager, Col. Tom Parker, is played by Ian Lane. Andy Braden plays the roles of Vernon Presley/Sam Phillips, Kiley Ernest is Priscilla/Ensemble, Chris Florio is Scotty, Mason Blaine is Bill Black/Frank Sinatra and Leo Jasper Davis is Chuck Berry/Roy Brown. Anthony Williams plays the roles of Otis/Jackie Brentson, Kyle Donovan is Dewey/Ensemble, Hope Blahusch is Dixie Lockee/Ann Margaret, Sydney Archibald is Betty, Tayandra Allen is Sister Rosetta Tharpe/Ensemble, and Stehanie Wood is Marion. Rounding out the ensemble is Vickie Anderson, Colleen Kleveno, and Olin Spencer.

The creative team is led by CEO & Producing Artistic Director Patrick A’Hearn and Associate Producing Artistic Director & Music Supervisor Carson Eubank. The team includes Director/Choreographer Jacquez Linder-Long, Music Director Carson Eubank and Asst. Director/Asst. Choreographer Stephanie Wood. The design team includes Set Designer Frank Foster, Lighting Designer Weston Corey, Projection Designer Mike Jarrett, Sound Designer Cheyenne Tenda, Costume Designer Erin Welsh, and Wig Designer Bethany Cheek.
