Floyd Collins, with book by Tina Landau and music and lyrics by Adam Guettel, is directed by Katrinah Carol Lewis at Firehouse Theatre. The musical features a folk and bluegrass-inspired score and tells the true story of Floyd Collins, a man who, in 1925, set out to turn a Kentucky cave into a tourist attraction in pursuit of fame and fortune. His plan takes a dramatic turn when he becomes trapped 200 feet underground.
