Kings Dominion (Doswell, VA) is seeking Actors, Singers who Move Well, Costume Characters, and Technicians for WinterFest. Audition for our team as we premier WinterFest and join us as we transform Kings Dominion into an enchanting winter wonderland!

SEEKING: Non-Equity performers with dynamic personalities, who are able to entertain by connecting with an audience. Theme Park, Cruise Ship, and Children’s Theatre credits are a plus.
Winterfest 2018 will feature three holiday-themed live shows. Performances will run November 23-25, November 30-2, 7-9, 14-23, 26-31, 2018.
SINGERS- Prepare one up-tempo Christmas song that highlights your voice and range, you may also be asked to sing Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas. You may not sing a cappella. Bring pre-recorded instrumental sound tracks (without lead vocals) - a CD player and 1/8” headset connection will be provided. You may be asked to read a brief monologue. Singers need to bring a current photo and one-page resume.
ACTORS- We will be casting a variety of actors of all ages to play various characters throughout the park. Candidates should be comfortable memorizing scripted material as well as displaying strong improv skills.
Candidates should prepare a 1 min. holiday themed monologue for a family-park atmosphere. Please be sure to include any improvisation experience on your resume.
Roles to be cast include; Scrooge, Toy Soldier, Candy Cane, Gingerbread Man, Sugar Plum Fairy, Ice Princess, Ice Prince, Christmas Carol, Jingle Bell, a trio of Elves (Holly, Jolly and Lolly) and others throughout the park.
MUSICIANS- We are interested brass instruments. Please prepare a 2 min. piece displaying various styles.
TECHNICIANS- We are seeking to hire Audio Engineers, Lighting Technicians, Deck Crew, Architectural Systems Technicians, Costume Dressers, Make-up Artists, Stage Managers, Scenic Carpenters, Decor Team, Props Technicians. Please bring a one page resume and availability from July through December.
Auditions will be held in the Human Resources office; registration is from 3PM-5PM. Saturdayy, August 25, 2018 at Kings Dominion, 16000 Theme Park Way, Doswell, VA, 23047.
