AUDITIONS
Art House Productions seeks cast for “Woman With Pocketbook,” a 30
minute musical comedy (Annie Kessler & Libby Saines - Book and Lyrics;
Jeff Blumenkrantz - Music), set at the gate to Heaven and Prospect
Park. Artistic Director Jack Halpin will direct.
Auditions will be held Sunday, Feb.10 from 3-6pm, and Monday, Feb.11
from 6:30-9:30pm at Art House, 1 McWilliams Place, Jersey City, NJ.
PATH Trains and Light Rail stops are nearby.
Please prepare one or two 16 bar musical theater selections that show
you at your best. The play will be part of Stagefest at the Historic
Loews Theatre in Jersey City, NJ, over the weekend of March 22-24. Non
Union. No Pay. All Ethnicities
Seeking: DORIS, age 55 or older. A determined, assertive woman, High
Belt or Mix; DAVE, her huband, 55 or older, warm and loving, crazy
about Doris, Bari-Tenor; HELEN, her mother 55 or older, a long
suffering martyr, Alto; GOD, a lounge lizard, could be male or female,
Swing Crooner; HEAD ANGEL, female, and 3 OTHER ANGELS, a mix of
ranges, male and female; OTHER NEWCOMERS TO HEAVEN, Russian, Latin,
and Italian, any adult age, could be male female; HOMELESS WOMAN.
