LOA LOA/LORT. Agreement Pending. Previous Minimum - $717/wk

SEEKING

All ethnicities, ages, and gender identities. We are an outdoor repertory company. All actors will be cast in 2 of our 3 summer productions. Please see breakdown for further information.

PREPARATION

2 monologues, at least one by Shakespeare. A few bars of a capella song for those who wish to demonstrate singing skill. Total audition package should not exceed 3 minutes. Bring headshot/resume.

A FLEA IN HER EAR

by Georges Feydeau

Victor/Poche: Male. 30 or older. A wealthy gentleman. Ability to play a convincing drunk.

Tournel: Male. 30 or older. Victor’s best friend. A womanizer.

Camille: Male. 20 – 40. Victor’s nephew. Has an obvious speech impediment.

Don Carlos: Male. 30 or older. Spanish, hot-tempered, jealous. Ability to speak Spanish, and English with a Spanish accent, required.

Etienne: Male. Any age. Head of Victor’s household staff.

Ferrallion: Male. Any age. A little rough around the edges. Proprietor of The Frisky Puss Hotel.

Baptiste: Male. 60 or older. Pretends to be in pain. A bad actor. Ferrallion’s uncle.

Rugby: Male. 20 – 40. A guest at The Frisky Puss. Stage Combat required. English accent required.

Raymonde: Female. 30 or older. Victor’s wife. Wants to be desired.

Lucienne: Female. 30 or older. Raymonde’s best friend, Don Carlos’ wife. Ability to speak convincing Spanish required.

Dr. Finache: Female. 30 or older. Victor’s doctor. Dresses like a man. Think “Gentleman Jack”.

Olympia: Female. Any age. Proprietress of The Frisky Puss Hotel.

Antoinette: Female. 20 – 40. Maid at Victor’s house. Unfaithful to Etienne.

Eugenie: Female. 20 – 40. Maid at The Frisky Puss.

TWELFTH NIGHT

Orsino: Male. 20 – 50. Duke of Illyria. High Status.

Antonio: Male. 20 – 50. Stage Combat required. Must be a threat to Orsino.

Toby Belch: Male. 30 or older. Olivia’s uncle and a drunk. Excellent comedic skills required.

Andrew Aguecheek: Male. Any age. Suitor to Olivia. Excellent comedic skills required.

Sebastian: Male. Any age. Viola’s twin brother.

Viola: Female. 20 – 40. A woman who disguises herself as a man.

Olivia: Female. 20 – 50. A countess in mourning for her dead brother. High Status.

Malvolio: Female. 30 or older. Steward of Olivia’s household. Stern and puritanical.

Maria: Female. Any age. A woman attending on Olivia.

Feste: Female. 30 or older. Olivia’s jester. Excellent singing skills required. Skill with any portable instrument a plus.

THE TEMPEST

Alonso: Male. 40 or older. King of Naples. Singing skill a plus.

Gonzalo: Male. 50 or older. Trusted servant to the King. Singing skill a plus.

Stephano: Male. Any age. The King’s butler, and a drunk. Clowning skills required. Singing skill a plus.

Trinculo: Female. Any age. A jester in service to the King. Clowning skills required. Singing skill a plus.

Antonio: Male or Female. 30 or older. Prospero’s sibling. Usurped her title. Singing skill a plus.

Sebastian: Male or Female. Younger sibling to the King. Any age. Singing skill a plus.

Ferdinand: Male. 20 – 40. Son of the King. Singing skill a plus.

Miranda: Female. Under 30. Prospero’s daughter. Singing skill a plus.

Ariel: Female. Any age. A spirit of water and air, in service to Prospero. Must have excellent singing skills.
