Oedipus Rex Auditions
The Gilbert Theater is delighted to announce auditions for Oedipus Rex. Oftentimes, we meet our fate on the very road we take to avoid it. This classic Greek Tragedy serves as the prequel to 'Antigone,' which was produced on the Gilbert stage three seasons ago. The Gilbert Theater's Oedipus Rex will be recreated and directed by Montgomery Sutton.

SEEKING
5 Actors - All Genders, Members of the Global Majority strongly encouraged to attend. All actors will sing and most will play an instrument, but formal musical training is not necessary: think campfire songs, hymns, and folk music.
PREPARATION
Please arrive with a headshot and resume, stapled together. Prepare the side for the track you are most interested in and a brief song of no more than 30 seconds in length. If you play an instrument, please accompany yourself.
