THEATRE IN THE PARK ANNOUNCES AUDITIONS FOR NEXT TO NORMAL 2012/13 SEASON OPENS WITH THE WINNER OF THE 2010 PULITZER PRIZE FOR DRAMA Theatre In The Park is very pleased to announce that Next to Normal auditions will take place Tuesday, 26 June at 6:00 pm here at the theatre. Auditions are by appointment. Walk-ins are certainly welcome, but priority will be given to those with an appointment. You may schedule your audition by calling the Theatre In The Park office during regular business hours (Monday – Friday, 9am – 5pm) at (919) 831-6936.
Audition Preparation: Actors will be assigned a three minute time slot in which to introduce themselves and perform a 16-32 bar cut. Song selection should be contemporary and should not be from the show. Resumes and current headshots are required. Please bring sheet music; an accompanist will be provided. Only music; no monologues will be seen.
The callback list will be posted to www.theatreinthepark.com on 27 June at 10:00 am. Callbacks will take place Thursday, 28 June at 6:00 pm. Arrive in comfortable clothing that allows for movement.

Private auditions will be held at the discretion of the director and music director.
