You are welcome to audition for both choruses.
Auditions for Mary Poppins will be held at:
Burgoyne Theatre - Lowell High School Annex
40 John Street, Lowell, MA 01852
VOCAL AUDITION
Adults/Teens (13+ yrs.): Friday, November 4 - 7 pm
Youth (7-12 yrs.): Saturday, November 5 - 1 pm
DANCE AUDITION
Youth Dance Chorus: Saturday, November 5 - 3 pm
Adult/Teen Dance Chorus: Saturday, November 5 - 6 pm
(Performers who wish to audition for the dance chorus, please bring jazz and/or tap shoes)
CALLBACKS
Sunday, November 6 - 1 pm
Performers (adults/teens/youth) auditioning for a principal role are encouraged to sing from the show, see attached.
Performers (adults/teens/youth) auditioning for the standing chorus may sing from the show or any selection that shows your vocal abilities.
Performers auditioning for Mary Poppins or Bert are required to attend both the singing audition on November 4 and the adult/teen dance chorus audition on November 5.
Performers auditioning for Jane and Michael are required to attend both the singing audition and the youth dance chorus audition on November 5.
Readings will be accomplished in a callback setting.
Please bring a photo of your choosing and a resume which includes any previous theatrical experience, special training and if you are a member of a choral group or church choir. (Photo will be used for audition purposes only.)
Performers under 18 years of age must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.
